      There are a few different ways.

      For some cancers you can see very clearly – like on the skin or the mouth.

      For others you can feel them – like breast cancer.

      But if you don’t know where it is you can try a few things. Different cancers put different chemicals in the blood, so you can have a blood test and this will tell you about the type of cancer, then you know where to start looking.

      Then you can use a machine called an MRI machine to scan through the whole body and a Dr will look at the results and be able to see where the cancer is. The machine lets you look into the body without having to cut you open…
