For my game idea? I would look for funding from the government, charities and other entities that give money for scientists to implement what they call “engagement activities”. These are activities that try to get students and non-scientists in general interested in science and learn a few things about it!

I would look to collaborate with associations like Athena Swan, LGBT STEM and oSTEM to get volunteers and help raise additional funds for my project.

I think this would be nice as this might allow it to move around the UK some more. There is a tendency for all these things to end up in London sometimes

We have been working with a charity called In2Science which provides students from low income backgrounds the opportunity to do a summer placement in a research lab. This is really important because at the moment only 2% of pupils eligible for free school meals progress to university! It is a really great charity that supports students to achieve their potential and progress into science careers – have a look here http://in2scienceuk.org/.
