• Question: whats it like getting to work with mini-organs and does it affect your day to day life

      It’s really cool, there aren’t a lot of people who use these because they’re a very new technique. As far as I know, there are no scientists anywhere using them for the experiments I use them for, so that’s very exciting.

      They are difficult to work with and need a lot of feeding and looking after. It’s like having a pet, sometimes I find myself talking to them! It effects my day-to-day life because if they need something done to them I have to just do it no matter what else I have planned. They can die quite easily, and this can be annoying at times!
