I remember in trip to the planetarium with my parents though, when I was about 12. I told them I would really like to learn more about stars and planets and they got me an astronomy book. I spent most of the following year looking up at the sky and asking many questions about it. I think that triggered my interest in physics, which is what I ended up studying at university and what I use now for my research.
