Yes, I did. I liked the social aspect of it and also learning new things. For me, University was even better. I felt closer to my colleagues who had in general similar interests to mine, the courses were very interesting (and there were many more cool parties!).
Do you like school? Are you planning to go to University too?
I did like school, but I found it hard to make friends (sad I know!) but it was also somewhere I was happy and it helped me become confident and discover what I was interested in. And it let me go to university (where I made loads of friends) and get a job I love (and even more friends lol)
I liked parts of school, it was nice to learn about some cool things in the subjects I liked, but I didn’t like having to take subjects I struggled with or being forced into a timetable.
For that reason I preferred going to university a lot more. I had a lot more control over my subject choice and even my own timetable. This is a lot harder in some ways as you need to be more disciplined.
I mostly enjoyed it but I hate (still do) having a very inflexible timetable, I did not like being told where to be and when to be there. I was very happy to leave school and have more independence. School was good in some ways – I still have a good group of friends from there, and I think that my physics teacher was a good role model for me, she had a PhD and I thought that was amazing.
