      Yeah I do. Everything has to end eventually. Maybe the human race will colonise space. But eventually the Sun will die and Earth won’t be able to support life.

      A few years ago people thought that the universe will probably end in a big crunch. That would be the opposite of Big Bang: gravity would push everything together and the universe would come to an end like that.

      But now scientists know that there is a special force in the universe called dark energy that actually pulls things apart. So it’s not clear how the universe is going to end. Some future scientist (yourself?) will have to work it out…
