I did my undergraduate degree in New Zealand and I loved it – the University was really good and I got to travel around lots of beautiful places. I also had family there so that made it easier to adjust to life in another country.

I moved over to the UK from Ireland to do my PhD. I started in Scotland and then moved down to Lancaster. I really like it over here. It’s been fun exploring a new place

I did my degree in Portugal, which is where I’m from, day I spent one of the years in Copenhagen, as an exchange student. There were loads of other people like me and it was great fun (great parties too!). I also got to learn about working and living in a different country, which is a really good experience.

I then came to do my PhD in London and also had a great time. I would recommend studying abroad very much

I haven’t travelled abroad yet but I definitely will once I have graduated. I want to move to Canada or Denmark or Australia….I can’t decide!
