      Normally what I try and do is get students to come to the lab, so that they can see the science in action. Over the summer I hope to have a student for 1-2 weeks which will allow them to get some hands on experience doing an experiment. I think this teaches you a lot about more about what science is really like. We work with this organisation http://in2scienceuk.org/ which involves students from Oxford.
